Like the previous writer, we too have struggled to put our thoughts about Dan on 'paper'. Probably, because it seems so wrong that any of us should be doing this. Now should be that quiet time after Christmas and New Year, prior to making plans for the warmer weather. Instead, we are all dealing with the unreality of Dan's death. Ayesha is our wonderful daughter, Joy our treasured grand daughter and Dan the best partner and father that we could wish for. We knew from that first meeting, that he and Ayesha were perfect for each other and our belief in that has never changed. Their partnership only strengthened when Joy was born 9 years ago. We take our consolation in that Ayesha and Joy have had these years as a family and that as time passes, they, and all of us, can think of Dan and celebrate the wonderful, kind, funny positive man that he was. Your legacy lives on Dan in your family, your friends and anyone who ever spent time with you. Dad and Carol xx
