We met Dan, Ayesha and Joy through water babies. Both Dan and Ayesha were always so happy, smiley and relaxed. Dan was the proudest dad and it was obvious he loved spending time with his family. I've read the lovely tributes on here and all comment on what a kind, caring and gentle soul Dan was. I've never met such a lovely family who loved every minute of life. Both Dan and Ayesha had gentle, calming and welcoming natures and were a pleasure to spend time with. The days, months and years ahead will be incredibly hard - Joy has the most amazing mum to help her get through and from the sound of all the tributes to Dan, a huge amount of friends and family who will always be there for them. I feel I know Dan a little more now I've read all these lovely tributes. He was a very special person to a great many people. I like the 'be more Dan' idea. Dan was gentle and good through and through - and he definitely appreciated what he had - I'll be trying to 'be more Dan'..... Lots of love to Ayesha and Joy - our thoughts are with you and thankyou for being so brave by sharing Dan's story and spreading the word about sepsis. Dan will always be remembered in the best possible way. Take care of each other Jo, Simon, Ollie & Amelie xxxx
