A privelidge to know such a wonderful man , There'll never be anyone quite like Dan Anything he could do to help you he would And made sure he left you feeling good. Selfless - he'd never let you worry, He'd always put the tents up at Glastonbury .... Helping the homeless and cooking food Drinking beer and always in the mood For good times and plenty of fun That list of jobs that would never get done, But socks in order and towels so neat The stories he'd tell of damaged feet With a great bunch of mates - Wednesday or United If the score was a draw he'd be delighted So none of his pals would be too upset (or maybe he'd had a little bet) A beer in hand he was always ready to give you a great big squeeze A better man you won't meet I'm sure everyone agrees Now our Dan has gone and there may be a massive hole , But we're lucky to have known Dan, a truly, beautiful soul. Love you mate x
