Hey up Dan, just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing? Still miss you, still love you and really wish you were here. Henry is starting to ask questions about his family and i can’t remember everything. You and I were a tag team on this and you’re not here to tag. It’s beyond heartbreaking that you’re not here and still very raw at times. You were always the fun one out of the two of us, I wish we could have a bit more of that fun right now Dan. Thank you though for always being bloody brilliant!!! If only I could have one of your hugs right now. Love you loads and send my love to everyone (tell Grandad that his WW2 pic is on Henry’s classroom wall and that his class are learning about our brilliant men who fought for us… I know he hates the limelight but his great grandson and friends are very proud of him). It’s your birthday today.... and I bloody well miss you! I feel so proud of you but also sad that our children and us never shared the same room! We were robbed by just a few days! However, Hen, Matthew and Joy are as thick as thieves! They play so well despite the age gap! Hen even gave Joy an amazing hug when we left your mums a couple of weeks ago! And he never does that! I hope you’re having a great party with your Dad, NaN, Grandad and Gladys.... I love you so much and miss you beyond words C x x x

I want to talk to you so much Dan. Every day without you is hard- if something good happens I want to share it with you. If its a bad day I need you to make it right again. I need your advice. I wish you could see Joy and be as proud of her as I am. I miss you. Thank you for the time we had.

I was so saddened to hear today of Dan’s passing. I remember him as a young boy growing up alongside his amazing parents; Roger and Marie. Sending all our love to Marie, Ayesha and Joy at this very sad time. Our thoughts are with you all. Much love, Karen &Rob French 💔
